Day 1: Fly from Arusha to Serengeti

Early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.  This is followed by pick up and transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Serengeti National Park. The flight is about 1 hour, depending on the number of stop overs in the other airstrips along the way. On arrival you Lobo Airstrip, you will be met and transferred to your camp – Serengeti Migration Camp.

Serengeti Migration camp has 20 lavish and spacious tents on wooden decks with either king or twin beds, comfortable leather armchairs, coffee and writing tables. The tents are en-suite with showers and double vanities, surrounded by a verandah with rocking chairs. The main area of the lodge is very comfortable with large leather chairs and views onto the Serengeti. There is a swimming pool and the lodge is child friendly.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Serengeti National Park and return to the camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight – Serengeti Migration Camp.

Day 2: Safaris in Serengeti

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Renowned for the two million strong wildebeest “Great Migration” the Serengeti is one of the most famous wildlife areas in the world. Its landscape varies from open grass plains in the south to savannah in the centre and extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west.

The park is home to incredibly rich wildlife with herds of antelope, zebra, gazelle, eland and topi along with predators. The bird life is in abundance with nearly 500 species of birds including 20,000 waterbirds. The granite outcrops scattered along the plains and known as “kopjes” provide habitats for a variety of birds and a vast wildlife ecosystem.

Day 3: Flight Serengeti to Ngorongoro via Manyara

A morning game drive in Serengeti before your scheduled flight to Lake Manyara. Upon arrival athe the airstrip, you will be picked up and drive to a lodge in Lake Manyara National park.

After lunch, take a game drive in  Lake  Manyara till late afternoon when you  drive to the lodge – The Manor at Ngorongoro.

The Manor at Ngorongoro, located in the north west Tanzania and with its 9 luxurious cottages (18 Suites), family cottage, and magnificent main Manor House, is one of the first safari lodges of its kind to blend East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and decor. Located adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro conservation area and within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate, The Manor is reminiscent of an elegant up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch-style of architecture.

Day 4: Full Day inside Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater; sometimes considered as the 8th Wonder of the World.

View wildlife on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. This 165km square paradise was formed by the collapse of an ancient volcano more than 25 million years ago. The resulting rich fertile soil has produced lush vegetation that has attracted more than 30,000 resident mammals and a delicate balance of predator and prey. There is a good chance of seeing the Big Five during your day of game driving on the crater floor. Travel with a picnic lunch, served near a hippo pool. In the late afternoon, you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Fly to Arusha – Depart

Transfer to the Lake Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha. You will be met on arrival and transferred to Arusha Town Centre where you continue on your onward arrangements. (B)
