This 3 day Masai Mara safari must-do for nature and wildlife lovers. Finishing our Kenya journey with Hallmark Travel Planners, it was our great 3-day Masai Mara safari experience. Booking with Hallmark Travel was the perfect decision. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient and somehow managed to spot the animals impossibly far away. I took the help of Hallmark Travel Planners to go to Africa for the first time. According to my budget, Tanzania and Kenya have prepared a combined safari package. The Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Amboseli were all very well organized. Even if there was a small problem, it was solved quickly. The hotel and transport were all comfortable. I originally looked at a small group tour of the Great Migration through an upscale US based company. They had a great tour program but also had a large price tag. I started checking around for other tours and found Hallmark’s 12 Day Wings Over Kenya and Tanzania. It was a similar itinerary to the group tour but offered 2 major advantages – it was private and it had flights in between most of the locations rather than driving among all of them. That was a huge advantage. Hallmark’s prices were much better although they had a couple of locations I wanted to upgrade. They made the changes so we got a mix of a couple of value locations and a couple of upscale locations. It's intimidating to wire all that money for a trip like this but it all worked out great. We had the trip of a lifetime. Also, Levis caught a mistake I made on my flight reservations. We had extra time to fill so he set up a visit to a small coffee plantation when we linked up for our driver for the final couple of days. We had a blast there. It was something different from the games drives. We also arranged a visit to the Cultural Heritage Centre to shop for souvenirs before we flew out from Arusha to head home. Overall, an unforgettable trip. We were able to arrange a hot air balloon ride in northern Serengeti (Kogatende airstrip) and a bush dinner in Amboseli as well. What an experience. We are both senior citizens, so I was a little worried about this long trip to Africa. But Hallmark Travel Planners took care of us like a family. Every transfer was comfortable, the hotels were suitable for seniors. The guides respected our slow pace, giving explanations slowly and in detail. Hallmark travel was a breeze to work with from my initial request all the way up until we arrived in Kenya. Our guides arrived on time and got us to our Safari on time despite a serious traffic jam. It was impressive how they worked with the people in town to get us around the traffic and back on track. Our guides had answers to all of our questions and were very knowledgeable.
