Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

On arrival at the airport in Nairobi, and upon clearing the customs and immigration procedures,  you will be met and transferred across to Tamarind Tree Hotel in Nairobi –

Tamarind Tree Hotel provides an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and garden. Featuring a terrace, the property is located within 3.1 mi of Kenyatta International Conference Center. Guests can enjoy a selection of seafood dishes in the on-site restaurant.

All units in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. With a private bathroom, rooms at Tamarind Tree Hotel also feature a garden view. The rooms will provide guests with a desk and a kettle. A buffet breakfast is available daily.

Day 2: Flight from Nairobi to Masai Mara

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson airport for your scheduled flight to the world renowned Masai Mara.  The flight takes about 45 minutes from Nairobi to Masai Mara.

On arrival Masai Mara, you transfer to Entim Mara Camp where you spend the next 4 nights. Built around a waterhole, it is possible to see a wide variety of game from the camp including elephants, wildebeests and giraffe. The 17 tents are tucked into the edge of the forest and have polished wooden decks with large verandahs from which you can enjoy the tranquil surroundings and the animals visiting the waterhole.

Day 3,  4 and 5: Safaris in Masai Mara

The next 3 days are spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunsets well-worth capturing on camera. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is 1510km² of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife.

Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see an abundance of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common.

Day 6: Flight Masai Mara to Nairobi

Today you return to Nairobi, where you overnight at the Tamarind Tree Hotel Nairobi. It  is ideally located just 5 kms to the southwest of Nairobi within the spacious Carnivore grounds and its iconic Carnivore Restaurant. The hotel offers easy access to all parts of the city, its national park, as well as to the country’s many diverse attractions via the neighbouring Wilson Airport and Southern Bypass. The nearby Langata and Karen suburbs are among the liveliest and most popular in Nairobi with world-class shopping malls and excellent restaurants.

Day 7: Fly Kenya to Seychelles

This morning, you transfer to Nairobi International Airport arriving in time to check in for your scheduled flight to Mahe, Seychelles. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the magnificent Carana Beach Hotel where you spend the next 5 nights.

Days 8-11:  Seychelles – Carana Beach

The boutique, Carana Beach Hotel is an all-suite hotel offering just 40 suites overlooking a beautiful small beach on the north-east coast of the main island of Mahé.

Carana Beach has been designed to accentuate the unique Seychelles environment; rooms are only a few steps from the white sand beach and all are framed by the lush jungle and giant granite boulders. Day 12: Departure

On the last day in Seychelles, transfer from hotel to the airport for flight back to Nairobi and for further connection on the flight out of Africa.
