Tour Highlights

Tsavo East is one of the national parks of Kenya that is well known for its unique safari experience. It has been one of the oldest parks of Kenya, since it was found in 1948. There is another side to this park which is known as the Tsavo West, the reason why it was divided into east and west was because of a railway passing between these two sides. Also, it is well known as the largest park of Kenya as it covers thousands of kilometers of land and has almost four gates.

It is home to large herds of Elephants, red from the laterite soil. Over 500 species of birds are found here. Tsavo gives you the real African safari feeling. This park, one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries, is noted for its vast elephant herds and a vast variety of games including Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra and plain game of almost every kind.

Tour Itinerary

You will be picked up by 05:00 hrs and drive along the main Mombasa-Nairobi highway through semi-arid country to the Tsavo East National Park and enter the park through Buchuma Gate. You will begin looking for animals on entry into the as you concentrate onto the direction of Aruba and Kanderi area where sometimes there may be high concentration of animals.

Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s greatest Wildlife Sanctuaries noted for its vast elephant herds and a variety of wild animals including lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo and other plain game. Lunch will be served at a stop-over restaurant. You will then proceed on your safari tour looking for more animals as you drive towards the exit gate and depart for Mombasa arriving late afternoon. Drop off at your respective hotel/Port.

ITINERARY
0500hrs: Pick up from location/locations to be advised.
0900hrs: Arrive at the Tsavo National park for the game drive/park formalities.
0930hrs – 1400hrs: Game drives in the park with lunch break at Ashnil Aruba Lodge
1500 hrs: Leave the park and drive back to Mombasa / Diani
1900hrs: :Safaris Driver /Tour guide staff will then drop you off at a location of your hotel
